  4. Can start from scratch or can use templates.
  5. Templates con be personalized.
  6. Can use your own pictures.
  7. Can share on social media and/or email
  8. Can read on any device.
  9. Gives you the option to print your book in High Resolution (Paid service)
  10. Creates a QR code to access book.

Disadvantages:

  1. Must ask students to use big font as the default one is very small.
  2. Sign up on line can take a little time and can be confusing for students.
  3. It looks as if you need to pay for creating the digital book but you only pay if you want to use their printing services.
  4. On line version does not allow full screen.

Examples:

Students can create books about their lives, likes and dislikes, trips, family, any topic.

In this example the student is using technology vocabulary and Past Perfect.

  4. Can use your own pictures.
  5. Can customize your voice
  6. Can share on social media and/or email

Disadvantages:

  1. Free version only has 3 characters (avatars) to work with.
  2. Free version provides a temporary link to reproduce video (only 15 days)
  3. A bug can impede your microphone to work properly so you have to go to settings and restore.

WIKIS IN THE CLASSROOM

Advantages:

  3. You can have a wiki for all your classes, or a wiki per class.
  4. Easy to use.
  5. Multiple levels: reader, writer, administrator.
  6. Editing notifications sent to Administrator’s email.
  7. Can be edited from any device.

Disadvantages:

  1. Free versions are bare and very simple.
  2. Not visually appealing to modern student.
  3. Charts formatting can be an issue.
  4. Usually very long URLs
